Nimrod is an established audio production company, working predominantly within the video games industry on titles such as Grand Turismo 4, Reservoir Dogs, 24 The Game and Driver 3.
Their composition, orchestral and production team are responsible for some of the most ground-breaking and original soundtracks to date.
Brief
Nimrod work in one of the most cutting edge and competitive industries around today and felt they needed to improve the stand-out of their visual identity and improve brand recognition. Having been established for seven years and achieved great success, their brief was to create an identity that accurately reflected the business positioning and the dynamic and highly skilled team behind it. As well as a logo and visual identity, we were also asked to apply the design to stationery, marketing collateral and a website rebuild.Result
Our challenge here was to create a vibrant, yet grown up identity within an industry that is famed for constantly changing standards of design. Through a series of conceptual meetings, an emblematic route was preferred and this was supplemented with an additional identity device for flexibility across different media. The final identity has an almost retro feel and manages to communicate a robust, yet fluid culture at the same time. We feel this reflects the highly skilled but forward thinking nature of the Nimrod business.We went on to deliver a temporary mini-website, a full range of stationery, media packs, DVDs, and trade press advertising. We are currently working on an exciting brand new website for Nimrod to be launched shortly.
